Nasri tipped to make big impact at Arsenal

Arsene Wenger believes Samir Nasri can make an impact "at the highest level", but looks set to have to wait a little longer before completing the capture of the French playmaker from Marseille.

Nasri is currently preparing for Euro 2008 with France. It was understood he had been due in England for a medical at the weekend to finalise a £12million deal. However, Gunners boss Wenger has indicated the completion of the transfer may not happen until after the tournament in Austria and Switzerland.

"At 21 years old his whole future is ahead of him and he has (quite) a margin for progressing further," Wenger told French newspaper La Provence.
