Ballack salutes late win

Michael Ballack believes the late defeat of Serbia in the final warm-up game will give Germany a confidence boost for Euro 2008.

The Germans had to wait until the 74th minute before Oliver Neuville cancelled out Bosko Jankovic´s 18th-minute opener and Ballack then sealed the win eight minutes from time when he drilled in a free-kick.

"It is always important to win the final tune-up match because it gives you a good feeling. Losing would not have been good. We showed the right attitude and came back," the Germany skipper said.
