Liverpool star Nathaniel Clyne has revealed that Chelsea’ Eden Hazard is the best winger he’s ever faced, after being posed the question by Vauxhall Football.
As relayed by the London Evening Standard, the former Southampton man claimed Hazard was the most complete wide-man he had come across during his time in the Premier League, whilst also picking Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero as the best player overall.
"Hazard," Clyne replied, when asked about the best winger he had encountered. He then insisted Aguero was "a very, very good player."

Clyne completed a £12.5million move to Anfield earlier this summer, meaning he’ll now be a part of a team vying with the likes of Chelsea and City for the Premier League title.
Many football fans may deny Liverpool’s claim to a credible assault on the English trophy, but with Brendan Rodgers’ spending this summer they look to have a team capable of matching almost anyone on their day.

No argument here
Of course that’s not to say their main rivals haven’t strengthened as well, with City buying Raheem Sterling for £49m and the Blues landing Radamel Falcao on loan, amongst striking other deals.
As for Clyne’s thoughts on Hazard and Aguero, there’s few supporters who will be ready to argue with him there. Aguero has proven himself a world-class talent in virtually every season at the Etihad, and finished as the Premier League’s top goalscorer last season with 26 to his name.
Hazard meanwhile collected the PFA Player of the Year award, and is registered by most as Jose Mourinho’s best player.
If it can be said that Chelsea boast the finest man for man squad in the division then that’s no mean feat, and it’s safe to say Hazard will be disappointed if he doesn’t better his stats from last year in the forthcoming campaign.
The Belgian international has admitted that he’s missing goals from his repertoire, and it can be expected that if he finds them he’ll be a contender for the coveted Ballon d’Or award alongside the likes of Neymar, Luis Suarez and Gareth Bale, all three of whom are vying to overthrow Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
One man who could be tasked with stopping Hazard at least twice this season is - you guessed it - Clyne, who himself is looking to improve on an already impressive reputation.
At Southampton the England international rose to fame patrolling the Saints’ right-flank, and he’ll have the chance to do the same at Anfield following Glen Johnson’s exit on a free transfer.
