MAIN MAN WALCOTT
Aaron Ramsey has tipped Theo Walcott to break the 20-goal mark this season as Arsenal go in search of their first Premier League title since 2004.
Walcott started in the Community Shield as the lone striker, ahead of Olivier Giroud, and assisted Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain for the winning goal.
Speaking to the clubs official website, Ramsey believes Walcott can reach the 24 goals he needs to break the 100 goal barrier for Arsenal.
He said: "He is a goalscorer - he has a load of goals for Arsenal and I think he can carry that on and maybe get into the 100 Club this year."
LACAZETTE A RED
Liverpool are in pole position to land French star Alexandre Lacazette, who has been a target of Arsenal's this summer.
Lyon have told the 24-year-old he can either sign a new deal or he is free to leave, following a breakdown in the relationship between the club and player.
Despite adding Christian Benteke, Danny Ings and Roberto Firmino this summer, the Anfield side are reportedly cleared to sign the France international, who scored 31 goals last season.
There has been no word yet on whether Arsenal will act on their summer interest of the Lyon forward, despite rumour not so long ago that the forward was demanding a move to the Emirates.
ARSENAL WANT MADRID STAR
The Gunners are reportedly interested in signing Real Madrid player Denis Cheryshev.
According to AS, Wenger is interested in bringing the Russian in as back-up for Alexis Sanchez.
The 24-year-old has been a peripheral figure at the Bernabeu ever since breaking through the Los Blancos academy.
Despite an impressive loan spell at Villareal, he does not fit into Rafa Benitez's fans and is free to leave the Madrid club this summer.
