As if the Premier League season being just around the corner wasn’t enough for football fans to get excited about, EA Sports have released the new trailer for FIFA 16.
The extremely popular video game will hit the market officially on September 2015, and EA’s latest offering reveals in-game footage that includes the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
Finally, it's here
If the sight of those two superstars whizzing about the pitch in all their graphically-engineered glory wasn’t enough then perhaps you’ll take pleasure in taking in the new stadiums, or maybe it’s Martin Tyler’s familiar commentary that floats your boat. In any case the latest instalment of most fans’ favourite past-time looks to be every bit as tantalising as expected, with graphics sure to have your nan convinced she’s watching real football when she walks in on you playing it, and a series of new additions to make the game suitably different from the last one.
One of the alterations focuses on the defences, which have often been the bane of many a competitive player over the years.
Tweaks reportedly mean that the back four will be smarter and more agile than before - whether or not they’ve cured the issue of one of the full-backs playing the opposition on-side all the time is anyone’s guess.
On top of that changes have been made both to Career Mode and Ultimate Team, but for now we’ll let you enjoy the trailer without bogging you down with all the details you’ll learn about when you’re actually playing the game.
