Angry Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to abuse defender Gabriel Paulista after the Brazilian inadvertently injured Jack Wilshere in training.
Some even sent death threats to the Brazilian, who arrived at the Emirates Stadium from Villarreal in January, according to the Mirror.
The report shows a stream of abuse from Arsenal fans - although it must be noted that other Gunners’ supporters were appalled by certain comments from their fellow fans.

"Thank you for ending my boy's career and ruining my title dream,” one furious user was quoted as writing on the social networking website. “I swear to God if I see you I'll kill you. Believe that @gpaulista5."
Another tweeted: "Leave my f*****g club @gpaulista5. F*****g k**b I'll put your family down."
Wilshere to miss six to eight weeks
Wilshere is expected to miss the next six to eight weeks after scans revealed the England international had suffered a hairline fracture to his right ankle.
The injury was caused by a heavy tackle in training on Saturday - a day before Arsenal beat Chelsea in the Community Shield at Wembley - but there is nothing to suggest Gabriel meant to harm his teammate.
Indeed, that Gabriel was named amongst the substitutes for Arsenal’s win over Chelsea is proof that the incident was entirely accidental. Such injuries can occur during competitive training sessions.
Big setback for Wilshere
However, it’s yet another setback for Wilshere, whose career has plagued by various injury problems.
The 23-year-old is one of the most talented English players to have emerged over the past ten years, but his failure to steer clear of injuries has unfortunately hindered his development to an extent.
