Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has posted a new video on Instagram, showing himself scoring a couple of goals in training as he steps up his rehabilitation process following hip surgery.
It was revealed on Wednesday that Sturridge is currently ahead of schedule and could return to action next month, just in time for Liverpool’s Premier League fixture against Manchester United on September 12.
It was initially feared that Sturridge would be out until the end of October after undergoing surgery on his hip in New York back in May, but the 25-year-old isn’t far away from making a full recovery.

Brendan Rodgers has spent big money on new recruits over the summer and now has sufficient cover for Sturridge in the form of Christian Benteke, who is expected to start upfront against Stoke City this weekend.
Rodgers will be desperately hoping his new £32.5 million signing hits the ground running, with Sturridge also poised to miss the matches against Bournemouth, Arsenal and West Ham before the clash against rivals United.

Liverpool need Sturridge fit and firing
Sturridge missed most of last season through injury and subsequently only managed to score five goals in 17 appearances for the Reds.
In the previous campaign, he scored a superb 24 goals in 33 matches.
Reacting to the video, Liverpool fans can't wait to see Sturridge back in action.
"Can't wait to see you back on the pitch!" wrote on user on Instagram.
Another replied, somewhat excitedly: "THAT'S MY BOY!! COME ON, BIG MAN. WE WALK EVERY STEP WITH YOU. @danielsturridge"
And another fan wrote: "Danny who???....train well Danny we want you injury free for at least the whole season, it will be like a new signing to get you back in team"
If the England international can rediscover his best form this season then Liverpool will have an excellent chance of securing a top-four finish - and Rodgers could well hold onto his job as manager at Anfield.
