In a recent interview with Red Eye, Punk, also known as Phil Brooks, commented on several big issues involving himself, the WWE, his time in MMA so far, and his hobbies such as being a Cubs and Blackhawks fan and writing comics.
One of the questions was about Hulk Hogan, who has been in the news recently as a tape revealed the WWE Hall of Famer going on a racial tirade.

Hogan’s contract was terminated by the WWE two weeks ago after the National Enquirer and Radar Online released a report of the WWE Hall of Famer making racist remarks on a leaked sex tape.
When asked for his reaction, Punk said: “I don’t really have a comment on it. Like I said, though, stuff that you say can come back and bite you in the ass. Everybody gets what they deserve in the world. Hopefully he issued a sincere apology and we can all move on from it.
“We all have said stupid things, and I don’t think you should judge somebody on what they said a long time ago. But some of the stuff is harsher than other things. It is what it is.”
Punk isn’t the only former WWE Superstar to comment on Hogan’s recent racial tirade. The Rock recently said he was disappointed when he found out the news. He also said his uncles had helped train him, that he had not known the man to be a racist, and now he is paying the price.
