CM Punk has said revealed if it bothers him when people ask if he will return to wrestling, and has stated the WWE is ‘ten years behind the curve on everything’, according to reports.
In a recent interview with Red Eye, Punk, also known as Phil Brooks, commented on several big issues involving himself, the WWE, his time in MMA so far, and his hobbies such as being a Cubs and Blackhawks fan and writing comics.
The former WWE Superstar has also commented on Hulk Hogan. Hogan's contract was terminated by the WWE two weeks ago after the National Enquirer and Radar Online released a report of the WWE Hall of Famer making racist remarks on a leaked sex tape.

Punk was asked if it bothers him when people ask if he will return to wrestling.
He said: “Yes and no. It irks me a little bit because I think it’s the same people that are asking it. But at the same time you have to roll with the punches because it comes with the territory.

“It’s probably what I’m most known for, and there are fans out there that miss me in that venue. I am not one to draw in the past and I’m sailing on.”
Punk is probably not going to be back in a WWE ring anytime soon, especially after the problems he has had with the company’s doctors. He’s part of the UFC now and needs to focus on that and the training for his first fight which could be around the end of the year.
However, Punk is glad WWE Superstar Daniel Bryan gave him a vote of confidence, and has said all in the WWE are ‘slowly warming up to MMA’.
He said: “I thought it was pretty cool. Everybody in WWE whether they admit it or not are big fans of the UFC.
"Like everything else, they are ten years behind the curve on everything, but they are slowly warming up to MMA.
“Now it’s all Ronda Rousey. But a couple of years ago when I mentioned her they told me the sport was despicable. Everything they are doing now is something I told them five years ago. They live in a bubble. When you are on the road this much, you are “all in” and nothing else matters; I lived in a bubble.
“They built this empire and they are the best at what they do. But they still have no [bleeping] idea what goes on outside their bubble.”
