Lyon playmaker Juninho has committed his future to the club and claims he has no plans to retire from football yet.

Following the announcement that 35-year-old goalkeeper Gregory Coupet is set to leave the newly-crowned Ligue 1-Coupe de France champions, it had been rumoured that a number of Lyon´s old guard would also look for an exit from the Stade Gerland.

"My family would prefer to stay living in Lyon. I think that I´m going to play my two seasons I have left at the top level here in Lyon," he told French newspaper L´Equipe.
