Emery calls for unity

New Valencia coach Unai Emery has called for unity as he looks to help the fallen Spanish giants get back on their feet.

Emery was officially presented as the new Valencia boss on Friday night after agreeing a two-year deal with Los Che, who he joins after two hugely successful years at Almeria.

"I am going to fight for unity, with the board, coaches, team, fans and media. Valencia have taken two steps back this season but we want to recover and take a step forward, if possible," said Emery, who does not believe the fact he has only been in management for a few years will count against him.
