Ezequiel Garay has classed himself as the "happiest man in the world" after this week signing for Spanish champions Real Madrid.

Madrid will pay Racing Santander 10million euros for the Argentina international centre-back, who has penned a six-year deal at the Bernabeu but will remain at El Sardinero next season on loan.

"I am the happiest man in the world," he said in AS. "Any footballer would be happy about this, to sign for such a great team is a dream come true and something I have worked for every day."
