Women in the ring are making quite a stir at present what with Ronda Rousey taking on the mantle as the world's most talked about fighter, and the recent influx of female wrestling talent in the WWE courtesy of the 'Diva revolution.'
And now, Charlotte, one of the new breed of Divas, is predicting things are only going to get bigger from here on out.
Speaking in a video package which aired on last night's SmackDown, the daughter of Ric Flair made the bold claim that she will one day main event WrestleMania.
"The NXT Divas have come up and said, 'Hey this is a revolution, we're changing the game.' That's my focus. I will main event WrestleMania."
The arrival of Charlotte, alongside Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks, from the WWE's development brand has certainly breathed new life into the female wrestling division. Headlining WWE's biggest annual event down the line, though, would mean making history.
To date no female has ever main evented WrestleMania despite it now heading into its 32nd year. Recent worldwide events in which female athletes are finally getting the limelight - from Ronda Rousey to the USWNT at the World Cup - mean that things could be about to change:
"Look at Ronda Rousey, the highest grossing fighter right now," Charlotte explained.
"That's where the Divas division is going. The sky is the limit for me, and I plan to go places no other Diva has been before."
While WrestleMania 32 may be too early for such a statement from the WWE (they are already eyeing up legendary names like The Rock, Triple H and even Stone Cold Steve Austin for big roles) the idea of a woman taking part in the main event is now a far more realistic goal than it was a few years back.
And you wouldn't bet against one of the current crop of new Diva stars from achieving that target.
