Dez Bryant updates Dallas Cowboys fans as worrying rumors escalate

Published Add your comment

Dez Bryant hasn't exactly had a quiet start to life on his five-year $70 million deal.

With training camp less than a week old the elite wide receiver has already drawn headlines after getting into a fight with a teammate, and had Cowboys fans crossing their fingers in hope after yesterday's session.

Injury response

The cause for concern came when Dez Bryant, competing in 7-on-7 drills, limped out of practice with a left hamstring issue. He didn't return to the session and confirmed afterwards that the medical team would be assessing the issue.

As you might expect when such an important (and valuable) figure is forced to the sidelines, With the rumor mill quick to churn into action. The Cowboys star himself though has now addressed the issue on social media.

In posting a simple yet effective message on his official Twitter account, the star wideout did much to reassure the Cowboys Nation.

With weeks to go until the 2015 regular season gets underway many Cowboys fans would probably prefer to see Bryant rapped up in cotton wool than working his tail off on the field.

That doesn't seem likely though and, with the medical team appearing to give Bryant the all clear, it won't be long before he is back at the thick of things as Dallas continue preparations for the 2015 campaign.

Dez Bryant wasn't the only Dallas Cowboys to suffer injury in yesterday's session. Defensive End Kenneth Boatright was carted off the field and taken directly to hospital with a suspected neck injury.
