Marseille president Pape Diouf insists he is looking to the future after young star Samir Nasri extended his stay at the Stade Velodrome until 2012.

Nasri, who has been at the club since the age of nine, put pen to paper on a lucrative deal on Wednesday night, signing a three-year extension to replace his current contract when it runs out in June 2009.

"It has been clearly established by our coach (Eric Gerets) that Samir is part of the elements he is counting on to build his team," said Diouf.
