WWE's Divas Revolution has taken a slight knock recently, after a botched finish occurred on SmackDown last Thursday.
The incident took place during a Divas tag-team match of Charlotte and Becky Lynch v Naomi and Sasha Banks. This match originally started off as a match between Charlotte and Naomi but quickly became a tag match after Divas outside the ring interfered.
As the match was coming to it's end, Charlotte hit a spear on Banks and began pinning her. Naomi then came in and made the save. This is when things started to go wrong.

Naomi, who hadn't been tagged in by Banks, then did a small package pin on Charlotte. Mike Chioda, the referee, then began counting when he shouldn't. This was all pointed out by the announcers.
They tried another small package pin with Charlotte pinning Naomi this time. This was reversed so Naomi would pick up the win. As soon as she won, it was clear she was frustrated with how the match had end, and she vented her frustration towards Charlotte.
According to a report by WrestlingInc, Dave Meltzer said the match was suppose to go on for several more minutes and Charlotte was suppose to pick up the win. It was already 20 minutes long, stretching across three parts.
However, this match was shown on SmackDown, a show that is taped on Tuesday and aired on a Thursday. If it was such a problem, why didn't the WWE rerecord the match if it was such a problem?
Maybe Naomi should of reacted better as well, a Diva with her experience should of known to react to the situation as if it was suppose to happen. This would have been good kayfabe but unfortunately, her emotions were clear as day at the end of the match.
Allowing this match to air was a mistake on part of the WWE. It's difficult to see how they can play this match into the feud other than a possible rematch on Raw tonight because Naomi picked up the win illegally.
The end result is it is caused the Divas Revolution movement to take a knock, after what had been so a fantastic bunch of matches previous by all the Divas in the division.
