The NBA is arguably still recovering from what was a memorable season in 2014-15 and the Golden State Warriors are still celebrating their title.
The team who the Warriors beat in the Finals however have had a trying off-season already with some of the Cleveland Cavaliers top players making headlines.

The Cavaliers saw the long term future of many of their top stars in doubt going in to this off-season and some have been resolved already.

LeBron James and Kevin Love have both now confirmed that they will be returning to Cleveland to try and help the team go one better next season.
Not everyone in Cleveland is so happy though and some still have big question marks over their long term futures.
One such player is Tristan Thompson with the forward having reached an impasse in his contract negotiations with the Cavaliers for over a month now.
Thompson still hasn't arrived at an agreement with the Cavaliers and now it appears that the situation could be turning hostile.
Thompson's agent revealed an ultimatum that has been delivered to the Cavaliers on Monday.
"If [Thompson] is on the qualifying offer, [this] will be his last year with the Cavs," - Thompson's agent on the future of his client
Basically saying that if Thompson is forced into accepting a one year deal in Cleveland, then that year will be his last with the team.
A big threat to make and certainly one that could hinder the career of a young star, although it will be interesting to see what Thompson's reaction would be if Cleveland won the championship that year?
