Manchester United goalkeeper Victor Valdes has revealed he is not the easiest person to put up with.
However, this is not an attempt for the Spanish goalkeeper to rebuild burnt bridges with Red Devil's manager Louis van Gaal.
The quotes come from an interview with Colombian news station RCN, that aired last week, but the interview was conducted on June 15, before the falling out came to light.

In the interview, the Red Devils stopper praised his wife for putting up with him and also heaped praise on to his former Barcelona boss, and current Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola.
“I am a very difficult person to work and live with. My wife deserves the biggest of trophies,” He said, as per the Guardian. “I was very lucky to have so many seasons with [Guardiola]. In addition to being a teacher to many of us, he was always able to communicate greatly with everyone and knowing how to adapt to talk to different people in the dressing room.
“That’s the most challenging thing for a coach, to adapt their own pride to be able to speak to everyone with their different egos.”
VALDES AND UNITED COULD HAVE BEEN PERFECT
The end to Valdes' spell at Old Trafford was confirmed when he was not given a squad number for the upcoming season, which is a huge shame for both the player and the club.
Valdes could have and possibly should have been the ideal short-term replacement for David de Gea, should he move to Real Madrid, and could brought a wealth of experience at the highest level to the United side, he is also a fantastic shot stopper.
In return, United offered Valdes the platform to improve on his already glittering trophy collection. However the relationship between the two parties now appears to be beyond repair with Valdes expect to leave Old Trafford in the not too distant future.
