Calderon wants title by Sunday

Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon is not interested in waiting until next week´s showdown against Barcelona to clinch the Primera Liga title, insisting he hopes the decisive blow will be struck against Osasuna on Sunday.

Madrid´s 3-0 win over Athletic Bilbao on Sunday night left the reigning Spanish champions 10 points clear of second-placed Villarreal with only four games remaining in the season.

"I would like to win the title as soon as possible. It would be great to win next Sunday because we would be able to celebrate the title in the remaining three games," said Calderon, whose side host arch-rivals Barca just a few days after visiting Osasuna.
