JUVE WANT RAMIRES
Italian giants Juventus has reignited their interest in Ramires and are hoping to sign him in the coming month, according to the London Evening Standard.
Following the departures of Andrea Pirlo and Arturo Vidal, Juve are looking for midfield reinforcements and see Ramires as the ideal signing.
The Brazilian started just 11 league games last season and was an unused substitute in the 2-2 draw against Swansea, but Mourinho is a big admirer of the versatile midfielder.
With two-years still remaining on his contract at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea are in a strong position to demand a reasonable fee for the Brazilian.
In other news, Baba Rahman is set to undergo a medical at Chelsea after a fee was agreed for the defender.
The Telegraph are reporting that Augsburg will pocket up to £14 million, and the fee could rise depending on appearances over the coming years.
Mourinho has become frustrated with the clubs inability to secure a left-back signing following the sale of Felipe Luis to Atletico Madrid, and the addition of Rahman will offer competition to Cesar Azpilicueta.
The Ghanaian has gone from strength to strength in the Bundesliga and Jose will be hoping he can go onto a new level in the Premier League.
RED WILL STAND
And finally, Chelsea are set to fail in their bid to have Thibaut Courtois' red card rescinded, according to the Evening Standard.
The goalkeeper was dismissed by referee Michael Oliver after bringing Bafetimbi Gomis down in the penalty area in Saturday's game against Swansea.
However, having reviewed the decision, the FA are set to stand by Oliver's decision meaning Courtois will be out for Chelsea's crucial Premier League clash against Manchester City.
