Since its inception three years ago the WWE NXT brand has certainly excelled, and its creator Triple H was recently praised for his efforts.
Having already become hugely popular since 2012 not least by being the platform for a number of now highly successful professional wrestlers to begin their path to success, NXT was also made for a very logical reason.
Chief Brand Officer of WWE Stephanie McMahon recently spoke at the 2015 Experian Services Client Summit in Las Vegas and took her time to explain the idea of the NXT brand.

The idea was one which her husband, Executive Vice president of Talent, Live Events and Creative for WWE, Triple H, came up with.
As Wrestling Inc reports, Stephanie explained during her speech at the summit that NXT came about as a means of pleasing wrestling fans who are not fans of WWE's main product.
She went on to say how the main WWE programming is not necessarily liked by every follower and this is something both she and her husband are well aware of, which is why The Game came up with the separate brand of NXT.
Ultimately it seems the leading couple within WWE wanted to be able to reach out to every member of the professional wrestling universe and, with the likes of Finn Balor and Kevin Owens working their way up the ranks within NXT with huge support, it seems they have done just that.
In addition, Stephanie also pushed the idea that having two separate brands would benefit both of them as a whole.
This has proved an extremely successful idea as it has meant that followers of NXT have been able to follow their favoured wrestlers up to the main WWE roster as with the likes of Becky Lynch and Sami Zayn.
In contrast, those wrestling fans who are already members of the WWE Universe would be more likely to watch and follow NXT in order to see who is most likely to be next to join their favourite WWE Superstars and Divas on the main roster.
For any wrestling fan, it is pleasing to see Stephanie promoting a product as successful as NXT.
As well as this, as mentioned by Wrestling Inc, the summit was attended by several UFC employees who are reported to have been very impressed with Stephanie's talk as well as the company's actions on social media.
Whether this means anything linked between WWE and UFC is imminent for the future is unclear but either way it is promising to learn of NXT being received so well by so many people.
