Manchester United could sanction Adnan Januzaj loan deal

Manchester United could sanction a loan move for youngster Adnan Januzaj after they complete the signing of Barcelona star Pedro.

This has been reported by the Sunderland Echo, who claim that the Black Cats have an interest in bringing Januzaj to the Stadium of Light in this transfer window, as the club go in search of improvement under the guidance of Dick Advocaat.

Januzaj, of course, was left out of the Manchester United squad that beat Tottenham on the opening-day of the Premier League season this past weekend, but it's far from certain as to whether he'd be interested in a move to Sunderland.

It appears, though, that the Manchester United hierarchy will hand the Belgian international the opportunity to leave the club for the 2015/16 campaign after a disappointing period in Manchester.

After a wonderful debut season under David Moyes, Januzaj failed to secure a regular starting spot last-term, and may now have to ply his trade elsewhere in an attempt to play week in, week out.

In need of a loan

And, in truth, a loan may be the best thing for him at this stage of his career. There's no doubt about it, the talented winger certainly has the ability to become a top player, but he needs to start playing on a regular basis.

And he needs to build his confidence. When he burst onto the scene in Manchester, he was taking on players for fun, both creating and scoring goals for the Red Devils, but lately he has struggled to find his best form.

A full season at a club like Sunderland would no doubt stand him in good stead for the future. It seems to be the best option for all involved.
