Real Madrid boss Rafa Benitez is ready to axe teenager Martin Odegaard from his 25-man squad for the upcoming season.
As reported by AS, it has been claimed that the talented Norwegian won't be utilised in 2015/16 campaign, and could now depart the Bernabeu sooner rather than later.
Odegaard, of course, is recognised as one of the leading youngsters in the game, having already starred on the international scene despite only being 16-years-old.

It appears, then, that the midfield ace could leave Real on loan, with numerous reports linking him with a temporary switch away from the Bernabeu.
Despite featuring for Real in pre-season, it appears that there won't be room for Odegaard in Benitez's squad in the near future, so he may well have to depart to secure first-team football on a regular basis.
Loan is ideal
Don't get me wrong, it's not exactly pivotal in the career of Odegaard that he leaves on loan this summer, but a temporary switch would no doubt suit him as he continues to develop.
Staying in Madrid would have its benefits, though: training every day alongside the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Luka Modric and Co. would stand him in good stead, but he will surely be determined to secure regular game time.
There's no doubt about it, if he makes a move away from Real in this transfer window, it will be extremely exciting to see just how he copes with the demands of first-tea, football week in, week out.
