Manchester United target Pedro Rodriguez is looking to leave Barcelona this summer, Luis Enrique has confirmed.
The diminutive Spanish winger has been the talk of the transfer rumour-mill in the past few weeks as speculation has grown over a potential move to Old Trafford.
Having sold Angel Di Maria to Paris Saint-Germain Louis van Gaal supposedly wants Pedro for his own, and the player’s position at Barca is far from comfortable.

Inadvertently fanning the flames of gossip, Enrique has now confirmed - as relayed by the Manchester Evening News - that his player does want to move clubs having not seen enough game-time.
"We've heard his opinions, it's a difficult decision that he has to make but we'll wait and see what he decides," Enrique said.

He 'wants' exit
"He wants to leave because he's not getting minutes but we want to give him minutes so it's a difficult situation. I certainly want him to stay.
"I'm looking forward to the end of the transfer market so I'll know exactly what I do have.
"I don't want to get drawn into controversies, we all understand Pedro's situation, he's always someone the Barca fans will love because of his personality and his performances on the pitch.
"He seems the same as ever. He's always a very hard worker and we know he's in a particular situation but there's no change since the start of pre-season."
Of course that might come as a surprise to many Red Devils fans, with Pedro himself having stated that he wasn’t looking to make a departure from the Nou Camp this year following the UEFA Super Cup win over Sevilla.
However, the 28-year-old is behind the irresistible trio of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar in the Catalan pecking order, and unless one of those three men sustain a long-term injury his starting XI prospects don’t look very healthy.
On top of that Enrique opted to start Rafinha ahead of Pedro in Tuesday’s encounter with Sevilla, despite the fact Neymar is missing from the fold, having contracted mumps. Cue renewed vigour in the stories linking with United.
Van Gaal stance
What cannot be denied though is that Van Gaal is interested as he looks to improve his wide options. Pedro is a player who has been and done it all both at club and international level, and there’s no doubt the Dutchman sees him as an ideal alternative to Di Maria.
