WWE: Chyna almost thrown out of Piper funeral for trying to talk to Triple H

Published 55 Comments

The great and the good of the wrestling world gathered to pay their last respects to Rowdy Roddy Piper at his funeral yesterday.

Unfortunately, according to former WWE Superstar Sean Waltman (aka X-Pac), ex Diva Chyna appears to have cast something of a shadow over part of the proceedings with her actions.

Funeral drama

Taking to Twitter, Waltman ranted that Chyna came "very close" to being ejected from the service after taking her opportunity to speak face-to-face with Triple H - a man whom she has made some pretty serious allegations against in recent months.

While the former Superstar later corrected his suggestion that Chyna turned up uninvited to Piper's funeral, his revelation that security almost kicked her out any way certainly suggests there was some tension in the air on a day that should have been about honoring the legendary Roddy Piper.

Ongoing issue

In fairness to Chyna, with the WWE having put up a brick wall in recent months (blackballing any attempts she has made to communicate with them) perhaps she felt yesterday's situation was the only chance she would get to explain herself.

And, in terms of what we know, it actually looks like Chyna was seeking to defuse some of the tension by apologizing for the recent spat with Triple H.

Clearly though that didn't work, with the WWE COO unwilling to speak to the woman who has accused him of a physical assault dating back to 2001.
