Toni late show sends Bayern through

Luca Toni´s last-minute header gave Bayern Munich a dramatic away-goals victory over brave 10-man Getafe in their UEFA Cup quarter-final second-leg encounter on Thursday night.

Toni stuck twice in the last six minutes of extra-time to claim an epic 3-3 draw for the German outfit (4-4 on aggregate), who were heading out of the competition in normal time before Franck Ribery popped up in the last minute to cancel Cosmin Contra´s opener.

Getafe had been reduced to 10 men as early as the sixth minute when Ruben De la Red was dismissed, but the hosts put on a superb display and goals from Francisco Javier Casquero and Braulio in extra-time appeared to have sealed the win before Toni scored with his dramatic late brace.
