Capital One Cup second round draw

The League Cup draw for the 2015/16 Capital One competition took place on Thursday, following the Doncaster Rovers' clash with Leeds United.

Successful teams from round one will be joined the Premier League sides that are not playing Europe, with eight other teams to enter in the third round.

Holders Chelsea, alongside Manchester City, Arsenal, Manchester United, Tottenham, Liverpool, Southampton and West Ham, will all enter the competition after the second round.

Nine Championship clubs were knocked out of the first round, including Blackburn, Brentford, Huddersfield Town, Bristol City, Nottingham Forest, Burnley, Derby County, Bolton Wanderers and Leeds United.

Everton have been drawn away to League One Barnsley, while Bournemouth will face League Two Hartlepool and Leicester will travel to Bury. Norwich visit Rotherham, Stoke go to Luton and Watford are at Preston.

Swansea City, who won the trophy in 2013, will face York City at the Liberty Stadium, while Exeter visit the 2014 runners-up Sunderland at Stadium of Light. 

Aston Villa will face League Two Notts County at home, Crystal Palace host Shrewsbury, while Northampton visit Newcastle.
