Chelsea target is on the verge of a switch to Spain

Published 1 Comments

Chelsea are set to miss out on Portuguese midfielder William Carvalho, with Real Madrid poised to lure the Sporting Lisbon star to the Bernabeu. The Blues and Arsenal have both been linked with a move for Carvalho throughout the summer, but according to Spanish publication AS, Los Blancos are preparing a £32 million bid for the defensive midfielder. Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho has been accused of using an offensive Portuguese phrase toward Eva Carneiro. The very public fallout between the two shows no signs of ending and this latest revelation could see Mourinho in hot water should the accusation prove to be true. And finally, Vincent Kompany has claimed his Belgian team-mate Eden Hazard could reach the same level as Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
