There’s not long left now until NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn takes place at the Barclays Center, but the stars of NXT were back at Full Sail University this week to tape three episodes.
The three shows that were taped will air weekly. Starting from August 19 through to the second show after TakeOver on September 2.
The NXT format sees the talent tape around three or four shows in one night, before they are rolled out to air on a weekly basis. If you wish to avoid the spoilers for the episode that will air on August 19, please turn back now.

The first episode will air on August 19, and it’s General Manager William Regal opening the show for the contract signing between Bayley and Sasha Banks. Bayley is out first followed by the champion and Bayley thanks the fans for getting her to this point.
Both Sasha and Bayley talk about why they’ll win the match before signing the contract. Sasha is about to leave before mocking Bayley, telling her that there’s a reason she’s on Raw now and is not worth the fight. Bayley then attacks Sasha on the ramp until referees break them up.

Tyler Breeze is in action next and he’s out to the ring, donning a Jushin Liger mask before defeating Rob Ryzin.
Breeze hit the Superkick for the win before placing the Liger mask on Ryzin to show us what will happen at TakeOver, before hitting a Beauty Shot on Ryzin.
TAG TEAM ACTION
Eight-man tag team action next as The Hype Bros consisting of Mojo Rawley and Zack Ryder, team up with Enzo Amore and Big Cass as they defeat four enhancement talents.
More tag team action as the champions Blake and Murphy take on Sawyer Fulton and Angelo Dawkins. Blake and Murphy picked up the win with the running suplex and frog splash combination.
The Vaudevillians enter the ring after the match as Alexa Bliss slaps them, as they’re unable to deliver a promo.
Samoa Joe is in action next as he takes on Steve Cutler. It’s an easy win for Joe as he locks in the Coquina Clutch for the submission victory.
Baron Corbin makes his presence felt after the match by attacking Joe, hitting him with the End of Days to continue the build-up to their match at TakeOver.
CLIMB OWENS CLIMB
Final segment of the evening see’s Kevin Owens come to the ring with a ladder as he talks about the NXT Championship match with Finn Balor. He calls the fans the ‘John Cena’ of wrestling fans because nothing genuine comes out of their mouths, as they love NXT and want it to grow yet cry when TakeOver is sold out in Brooklyn.
He continues to play down the threat of Balor and that Beast in the East was a fluke. He says that at TakeOver it will be ‘Climb Owens Climb’.
Balor’s music finally hits and the lights go dark, when they turn on he’s on the turnbuckle as he takes down Owens with a Pele Kick. Balor tells him that he’s going to shut him up once and for all at TakeOver to close the show.
