Three episodes of NXT have been taped, with the first airing on August 19 and the remaining two taking place after TakeOver.
It will be interesting to see how the episodes are edited for television, as TakeOver spoilers might have been provided.
The NXT format sees the talent tape around three or four shows in one night at Full Sail University, before they are rolled out to air on a weekly basis. If you wish to avoid the spoilers for the episode that will air on August 26 and potentially TakeOver, please turn back now.

THE ASCENSION RETURN
It’s Sasha Banks who opens the show, taking on Gionna Daddio but the interesting thing here is that Banks still has the NXT Women’s Championship.
Gionna starts off strong but it’s Banks who takes control of the match and locks in the Bank Statement for the win against Gionna who has a lot of potential.
The strange pairing of Baron Corbin and Rhyno team up to take on the returning Ascension who are said to receive a loud reaction from the fans. The match ended due to a disqualification at first but William Regal announced the match would restart.
It looked as if The Ascension would win but Konnor was hit by the Gore by Rhyno.
IMPRESSIVE APOLLO CREWS
Alexa Bliss takes on Blue Pants and picked up the win with the Sparke Splash.
Apollo Crews takes on Martin Stones, showing off his ridiculously impressive agility and move-set which is why fans should be excited by him.
He goes on to hit the standing moonsault for the victory in a short match.
It's not clear right now just what role he plays at TakeOver, but it's safe to say the fans will definitely be behind Crews who reportedly looked very impressive in this match.
More diva’s action as Billie Kay goes up against Eva Marie. It’s Eva Marie who picks up the win with the Sliced Red as she continues to perform on NXT, with rumours suggesting she’s going to be a big player on the main roster in the coming months.
THE MAN THAT GRAVITY FORGOT
Tag Team action for the main event as Jason Jordan and Chad Gable take on Solomon Crowe and the returning Neville, who also received a great welcome from the NXT fans.
It’s said that this was a solid back and forth match as Jordan and Gable looked impressive as a team which is great to hear.
Many would expect that a returning Neville would pick up the win alongside Crowe, but that wasn’t the case. They took Neville out of the match and focused on Crowe, hitting the Grand Amplitude on Crowe for the win.
It’s a good result, the right one in fact. Jason Jordan and Chad Gable are a strong team and very impressive in the ring, if they’re booked right then we could have solid tag team contenders.
