This week the stars of NXT were back at Full Sail University to tape three episodes of NXT, with two of them airing after TakeOver: Brooklyn.
The first episode airs on August 19 which is the ‘go-home’ show for TakeOver, whilst the second and third will air on the WWE Network after TakeOver which suggests the episodes could contain potential spoilers.
The NXT format sees the talent tape around three or four shows in one night, before they are rolled out to air on a weekly basis. If you wish to avoid the spoilers for the episode airing on September 2, please turn back now.

JOHNNY GARGANO AND TOMMASO CIAMPA
It’s the divas who kick off the show as Peyton Royce goes up against Carmella. It’s Carmella who picks up the win over Royce – formerly known as KC Cassidy – by locking in the figure four head scissors for the submission win.
A very interesting tag team match taking place next, first off it’s a strange pairing as Bull Dempsey and Tyler Breeze are teaming up, but their opponents were Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa.

The fans obviously showed their appreciation for two of the best on the independent scene, but it was more surprising to actually see them pick up a win with a sunset flip into a rolling pin. Bull Dempsey was hit with a kick to the head by Breeze after their loss.
Now the question must be raised, are Gargano and Ciampa signing with NXT? A massive coup if Triple H can pull that off.
OWENS VS NEVILLE
Another diva’s match taking place, this time Billie Kay takes on Dana Brooke. It’s being reported that this was a solid diva’s match with Billie Kay getting in a lot of offence.
Dana Brooke continues to show improvement as she hit the enziguiri followed by the Samoan Driver for the victory.
In the main event it’s Kevin Owens taking on Neville, the interesting thing to note is that Owens has the NXT Championship title in his possession, could this mean Balor drops the title at TakeOver?
It’s being reported that this was another good match between the pair with plenty of back and forth action between the pair. Owens continued to mock Finn Balor during the match by posing like him and even attempted to hit John Cena’s Attitude Adjustment on Neville which was reversed into a DDT.
Owens hits Neville with the title for the disqualification victory before beating down Neville until Balor is out for the save. Tyler Breeze then gets involved as Owens runs away allowing Balor to hit Breeze with the slingblade before Neville hit the Red Arrow to close the show.
Could we be heading to a fatal 4 way match for the title at the final TakeOver event of the year?
