Manchester United have been busy in the transfer market this summer, as Louis van Gaal continues to mould his squad.
The Red Devils have brought in five new players over the summer, and their business does not seem to be ending there.
Following the sale of Angel di Maria to PSG, the Old Trafford club have been on the hunt for a suitable replacement. Barcelona winger Pedro looked to be that man, however the prospect of a deal has stuttered recently.

It appears United are now eyeing up a move for PSG's Ezequiel Lavezzi, after it was revealed the club had make contact with the player's representatives, according to Gazetta dello Sport, who also report the player is valued between €12-15 million.
Having scored 32 goals in 136 games for PSG, Lavezzi is now surplus to requirements in Paris, and the club are looking to offload the player. The 30-year-old is capable of playing on the wings or as a striker, so could also offer further competition for Wayne Rooney.
DON'T WRITE OFF ROONEY
Rooney has come in for heavy criticism after his performance against Aston Villa, where he touched the ball once in the opposition's area.
His touch and passing were poor throughout and the United captain was lucky to avoid being substituted, as he looked lethargic and way off the pace.
People are quick to write the England captain off and say he no longer has the ability to play as the spearhead of United's attack, however it is too early to completely dismiss his ability.
The 29-year-old goes through spells throughout a season where his touch deserts him, and it appears he is going through this rough patch at the start of this campaign.
Given game time to rediscover his match sharpness Rooney will find his shooting boots and answer all of his critics. He will also need some help from his midfielders, who, apart from Juan Mata, looked rigid and devoid of creative ideas at Villa Park.
