If there is one thing Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho does better than winning trophies it is most definitely the art of distraction.
Lose 1-0 to Arsene Wenger's Arsenal for the first time at Wembley? Blame the pitch.
Draw against Swansea City on the opening day of the Premier League? Blame the physio.

Outclassed by Premier League title rivals Manchester City? Substitute the captain at half-time to get people talking about something other than the convincing scoreline.
Yes, the Special One certainly has a special talent for shifting the blame onto someone else and it seems that blame-game culture has infiltrated every nook and cranny at Stamford Bridge. Either that, or Mourinho has taken it upon himself to start writing the match reports on Chelsea's official website.
The report started to cause a stir on social media on Monday morning after a few eagle-eyed fans spotted what many constituted as a biased view on events at the Etihad Stadium.
Lines such as "the final scoreline did not accurately reflect the bigger picture" and "an errant offside flag denied us a deserved leveller" fall in line with Mourinho's claim that Chelsea were the better side in the second half.
All is not well for Mourinho at the moment as he starts to fall out of favour with the British media. There is a growing sense that the bond between him and the Stamford Bridge club is starting to come loose at the seams.
Whispers of disagreements with Roman Abramovich over Chelsea's transfer policy this summer will only grow louder with every bad result. On Sunday's showing, there will certainly be a few more this season.
