The Rock appearing at SummerSlam has been talked about even more recently, with some reports saying he could appear to set up a WrestleMania 32 match against Triple H.
The Great One has been speculated to appear at the second biggest pay-per-view of the year since Roman Reigns dropped a hint during an interview with FOX Sports saying ‘I wanna tell you, but I don't want to give anything away.’
Since then, it has been anyways guess. Recently however, Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio that he has been hearing talk of The Rock possibly coming to SummerSlam over the past couple weeks.

He says it's being discussed but it's not yet clear if he's going to be there for definite. If he does appear, Meltzer thinks this could be to set up a match with Triple H at WrestleMania 32 next year.
Meltzer has also said in the past if The Game and The People’s Champion were to meet next year at WrestleMania, it could possibly be in a mixed tag team match. Stephanie McMahon would team up with her husband, whilst UFC Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey would team up with The Rock.
Rousey has recently spoke about how she would love to wrestle in the WWE one day, but none of us would expect it would come as soon as next WrestleMania.
This kind of match would be best for business. It would sell out Dallas Stadium in an instant, and add more subscribers to the WWE Network. Rousey is already a main stream star and has a huge fan following after her dominant performances in the UFC.
Evidence of this possible match up was shown at WrestleMania 31, where The Rock and Rousey confronted The Authority and removed them from the ring after they were boasting about Triple H’s win against Sting.
