Trent Richardson is already being a calamity for the Oakland Raiders

Published 1 Comments

Trent Richardson's career in the National Football League has been one absolute, unmitigated tyre fire. And that's being harsh on tyre fires.

Poor, Poor Trent

Richardson has seemingly carried on the form he showed for the Indianapolis Colts with him to the Oakland Raiders, which seems to have taken the form of emotional baggage that is literally weighing him down on the football field.

Richardson took to the field in his first game in the Silver and Black of the Raiders, facing off against the Saint Louis Rams in their first pre-season encounter. Surely, T-Rich would be looking to make an impression?

Well he did, it just wasn't a good one. And that is because Trent Richardson is not a good running back anymore. He lost all of his power when Roger Goodell called out his name on Draft night.

Shocking Run

The internet is now laughing at Richardson for one particular play, where Richardson decided to run straight into a pile of players instead of hitting a big hole in front of him, that would have resulted in a definite touchdown.

Richardson genuinely decided he would rather run into the cluster that was waiting for him, than the big open space into the end zone. This wasn't some trick of the eye/ false daylight either. Check out this other of the play, if he takes the big open space he would only have to beat one linebacker to be home free.

And somehow, Richardson remains second on the Raiders depth chart. What in the hell must Roy Helu be doing down in Oakland for Trent to be beating him out?

Good luck Raiders fans. Let's pray that Latavius Murray never gets hurt.
