The end is in sight regarding Juan Cuadrado’s Chelsea career. At least that’s what Italian source TuttoSport say, with it claimed today by the paper that Jose Mourinho is insisting he must be sold. There’s been strong interest in the Colombia international from Italy, with Juventus in particular a club that have been linked with him. Most of the reports infer that Cuadrado will be loaned out this season, but Mourinho is said to want a permanent deal rather than a temporary one, having decided that the ex-Fiorentina man doesn’t fit well in his Chelsea squad. We’ll have more on that saga as it comes through, but don’t expect an end anytime soon. Moving on the Blues have confirmed another summer signing, clinching the signature of Abdul Baba Rahman from Bundesliga side FC Augsburg. The full-back has been followed by Chelsea for some time, so it’s no doubt a relief for the club to finally get that deal done.
