We start off in the NFL, where the New York Giants have made a desperation signing. The Giants are struggling on defense, and have brought in Brandon Meriweather after another defensive back got injured. Staying in the NFL, the Dallas Cowboys could also be in an injury crisis. The Cowboys first round draft pick Byron Jones has suffered a shoulder injury. This is worrying for Dallas, as it's the same shoulder that he had season-ending surgery on last year. Over to the NBA now, where the Atlanta Hawks have signed a new guard. The Hawks have brought in veteran shooter Jason Richardson as the NBA's best 3-point team looks to improve even more. And finally to baseball, where Sonny Gray looks set to make a return. The Oakland A's pitcher suffered a back injury last week but the 25-year old is fit enough to start against the Orioles tonight.
