PSG midfielder Marco Verratti has put the duo of Barcelona and Arsenal on alert after hinting at a future move away from the Parc des Princes.
This has been reported by The Sun, who claim that both sides are interested in the Italian midfielder despite the player insisting that he's currently happy in Ligue 1.
Verratti, who is still only 22 years of age, is recognised as one of the most exciting young midfielders in Europe, and he has insisted that England, Italy and Spain are all options as he considers his next career move.

He said: “You never know what the future brings. I am fine where I am now and I am not thinking about a transfer.
“I will consider my options the day I no longer feel good at PSG or when the club wants to sell me.
“But England, Spain and Italy are all options. What matters most is the project.”
In fact, Verratti went on to claim that he's flattered by the interest being shown in him, while insisting that Barcelona are one of the strongest sides in the world.
He continued by saying: “Barcelona are one of the strongest clubs in the world and have been so for a long time.
“They are a great team but I am happy at PSG at the moment. It is always flattering for a player when such a big club is interested in you.
“It is up to the people at Barcelona to decide but it is true that I like their style.”
But Arsenal need a striker
Don't get me wrong, the unlikely signing of Verratti would no doubt prove a remarkable coup for Arsene Wenger and Co. in north London, but the club's hierarchy should be targeting a new striker before the close of the transfer window.
If the Gunners are serious about overhauling Chelsea at the summit of the Premier League table this term, then they have to add a world-class striker to their ranks.
Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott will most definitely score a number of goals between them this term, but a world-class addition really could change the dynamics of the title race.
