Arsenal have been warned off a bid for Germany's World Cup hero Mario Gotze by Bayern Munich's sporting director Matthias Sammer. Gotze has fallen out of favour with Munich boss Pep Guardiola and was linked with a move away from the Allianz this summer. Reports suggested the Gunners were favourites to sign the 23-year-old. However Sammer has moved to quash any suggestion of departure, saying Gotze should just be allowed to play football and is important to Bayern's hopes of success. In other news, the Gunners have been put on high alert after it was revealed Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be allowed to leave Paris St Germaine this summer. It has been highly publicised that Arsenal are looking for a striker this summer and the 34-year-old may fit the bill perfectly. Manchester United are also reportedly interested, however neither side have made a move for the Swedish international. And finally, Alexis Sanchez has been making headlines for his off the field actions.
