NXT Takeover: Brooklyn is set to be the biggest show in the developmental territory's history, at least in terms of length and matches on show.
Triple H has added to the already scheduled contests for the show to take the total number of matches to ten.
This undoubtedly means that this will be the first NXT live show to go beyond two hours in length, and the first Takeover special to feature more than six matches. This adds to the fact this is the first special event to take place outside of Full Sail University, NXT's home base in Florida.

Six matches were previously named prior to Triple H's most recent announcement, with the main event to be Finn Balor vs Kevin Owens for the NXT Championship. The other two title bouts will see Sasha Banks defend her Women's Championship against Bayley, and Blake & Murphy fending off the challenge of the Vaudevillains for tag team gold.
Outside of the championship contests, legendary Japanese star Jushin "Thunder" Liger will make his first live appearance on WWE television opposite Tyler Breeze. Also Baron Corbin battles Samoa Joe in a clash of two wrecking balls, whilst Apollo Crews makes his debut against "the Perfect 10" Tye Dillinger.

New matches added
Alongside these already determined matches, four more have been added, including two more Divas matches. The first of these is a fatal four-way between Charlotte, Becky Lynch, Dana Brooke and Emma, which currently has no stipulation attached to it. The second sees Eva Marie face Carmella in a singles match.
After being conspicuously left off of the card previously, New York natives Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady find themselves booked in a match, albeit not for the NXT Tag Team Championships like many had hoped. Instead, they will team with Mojo Rawley & Zack Ryder to battle Jason Jordan, Chad Gable, Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder in an eight-man tag.
Rounding this expansive card is Bull Dempsey vs Elias Sampson, although it is as of yet unknown if any of these new additions will be dark matches prior to the live broadcast of Takeover.
It is exciting to see so many new matches added to make sure Takeover: Brooklyn will be an amazing show, but these additional four bouts just smack of filler in between the more meaningful contests that had been decided weeks ago. The Divas fatal four-way and the appearance of Enzo & Big Cass should be entertaining though.
