Louis van Gaal has revealed he was so happy with Memphis Depay last night that he wanted to kiss the Manchester United star.
Memphis was influential in helping the Red Devils come from behind to claim a 3-1 win over Club Brugge, scoring two and assisting Marouane Fellaini.
After the match Van Gaal expressed his delight at the £25 million summer signing from PSV, but explained how the Holland international will not be satisfied with his performance at Old Trafford.

As per the BBC, the Dutch manager said: "I want to kiss him tonight because when you score two goals and give the assist also then normally in the world you are the hero, but for a coach it is different.
"He is never satisfied and i like that because you have to know what you are doing and also what you can do, and then your desire to improve is higher and that is Memphis."
THE LEFT IS BEST
Memphis produced his most exciting performance to date in a Manchester United shirt and showcased his immense skill and talent, taking the game by the scruff of the neck to turn around the Red Devils' fortunes.
The 21-year-old was played in the number ten position on the opening day but failed to influence the game in the way he would have liked.
He was switched to his preferred position of left-wing for the game against Aston Villa and remained there for last night. The Dutch star looked more comfortable out wide as was able to have more of an influence of proceedings.
THERE ARE SO MANY OPTIONS AT NO. 10
United have a wealth of players who are naturals at playing behind Wayne Rooney, so Memphis should be allowed to continue on the left-wing as he find his feet in the Premier League.
Adnan Januzaj, Juan Mata and Marouane Fellaini are all players that are capable of playing in that position and can all influence a game in their own way. There is even the option of playing Rooney behind Javier Hernandez.
We may yet see Memphis deployed in the middle later on in the season, but for the time being Van Gaal should leave him on the left so he can continue to produce performances similar to the quality of last night.
