The French international has been linked with a shock move away from Anfield this summer, with Roma desperate to try and bring him to the club on a season-long loan.
However, after making an initial approach for the defender, both Roma and German side Leverkusen were told he isn't for sale and won't be leaving the club at all this month.

Sakho is yet to feature for Brendan Rodgers' side this season and his absence from the first two Premier League game have raised eyebrows regarding his future.
Rodgers went with a centre-back pairing of Dejan Lovren and Martin Skrtel for both games against Stoke City and AFC Bournemouth, with Sakho not even included on the substitute bench for either match.
Despite not being involved, Rodgers has reportedly held a conversation with Sakho and urged him to stay at the club and fight for his spot in the first-team.
The Frenchman made 28 appearances for the Merseyside outfit last season and is expected to feature this season as well, with Rodgers desperate for him to prove his worth over the next few months.
Sakho has been at Liverpool for two years now since completing his move from French side Paris Saint-Germain.
During his two year stay at Anfield, he's made 46 appearances and continues to be a mainstay in the France national team despite the lack of first-team football with Liverpool.
Sakho is competing alongside the likes of Laurent Koscielny of Arsenal and Raphael Varane of Real Madrid for a starting spot in the French side, and he will be eager to play regular football at club level this year with the Euros coming next summer.
