Published 3 Comments

When Angel di Maria signed at Old Trafford last summer, Manchester United fans could not have been happier.

The Argentinian was tipped to become a hero for the Red Devils. He had the skill and ability to return United to their former glory.

The fans at Old Trafford would sing his name for years to come as he helped United and Louis van Gaal to Premier League success.

Sadly, it never worked that way. The Argentinian failed to deliver in Manchester and has since jumped shit to join former United midfielder Laurent Blanc at Paris Saint-Germain.

But it seems the Stretford End will be signing about the former Real Madrid man, just not in the way they would have expected.

Footage has emerged of Manchester United fans chanting about the 27-year-old in a not so complimentary way.

The Old Trafford faithful refer to Di Maria as a 'sl**' and a 'wh***' as well as a money grabber.

It is no secret Manchester United fans are not happy with Di Maria's decision to leave Old Trafford one year after becoming the clubs record signing for £59.7 million.

It would be extremely interesting to see the reaction the PSG man received were the two clubs to meet in the latter stages of the Champions League.

One things for sure, football fans may have to get used to hearing this chant about the Argentinian, maybe not at Old Trafford, but from the more vocal United fans that follow their team away from home.

Manchester United fans, were you happy to see Di Maria leave or disappointed he never fought for his place? Have your say below!
