Daniel Sturridge has posted another video to YouTube in order to reassure Liverpool fans that his return to the first-team fold is imminent.
The England international has been blighted by injury for the best part of a year, but is currently on the mend and hoping to become a major part of Brendan Rodgers’ plans once again.
Having undergone hip surgery, and then the rehabilitation it takes for the body to recover, Sturridge is once again at the stage where he’s preparing for his Reds comeback.

The comeback on
That said there are sure to be obvious concerns when he returns to action over how long he will remain fit.
Once the tackles come flying in and the striker faces off against the sternest defenders to call the Premier League home he’ll have a much more arduous physical test to overcome.
On top of that it looks likely that he’ll have to fight for his place in the starting XI, with Christian Benteke having been lively in his opening games for Liverpool and big things expected from the likes of Danny Ings and Roberto Firmino.
Sturridge a risk?
Since Liverpool are under pressure to find a route back into the top four Rodgers has spared little expense in bolstering his frontline, and it can be assumed he would rather opt to go with tried and trusted options rather than those who represent a gamble.
At this stage that’s exactly what Sturridge is, despite his obvious efficiency when it comes to putting the ball in the back of the net.
If he can prove his long-term fitness then he’s a valuable asset. By the same token another lengthy injury could seriously jeopardise his career.
