Kelvin Benjamin out for 2015 season?

Published 1 Comments

We begin in the NFL where it looks like the Seattle Seahawks could be waiting a while for star safety, Kam Chancellor, to report to the team. Having held out of camp for 20 days already, racking up over $600,000 in fines in the process, Chancellor's agent has made it clear he won't return until his contract demands have been met. With Seattle unwilling to enter negotiations the standoff could continue into the regular season. Elsewhere in the league, the Carolina Panthers are set to be without second-year wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin for the entire 2015 season. Cam Newton's number one target suffered a torn ACL yesterday during non-contact drills. Across to the NBA, and the results of the annual rookie survey are in. Third overall pick Jahlil Okafor was tipped to be the Rookie of the Year, whilst Joseph Young, selected 43rd overall by the Indiana Pacers, was seen as the steal of the draft. And finally, in baseball, the Kansas City Royals extended their winning streak to five games
