Reports have emerged that the original plan was to reveal Triple H as the anonymous Raw General Manager.
Former WWE writer Chris DeJoseph recently did a Q&A at The Wrestling Guy Store according to NoDQ, and one of the questions was who was originally planned to be the anonymous Raw General Manager.
DeJoseph revealed it was supposed to be Triple H, and not who the WWE later revealed it to be, Hornswoggle.

The Anonymous Raw General Manager first appeared on WWE programing in June 2010, with WWE commentator Michael Cole often having to speak on their behalf. They controlled the preceding’s on Raw until COO Triple H and Vice President of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis took over in July 2011.
Just over a year later towards the build up of Raw 1000, Hornswoggle was revealed as The Anonymous Raw General Manager thanks to the investigation of Santino Marella.
In November last year and after The Authority lost power in the WWE after losing at Survivor Series, The Anonymous Raw General Manager did make a return, promising to bring order to the WWE, but they haven’t been mentioned since.
It’s a bit difficult to say what direction the WWE would have gone in if they did reveal Triple H as The Anonymous Raw General Manager. However, it comes as no surprise that the WWE didn’t go any further down the road after The Anonymous Raw General Manager returned in 2014 because it wasn’t popular in 2010.
If they had revealed The Anonymous Raw General Manager to be Triple H last November, that would have been slightly more interesting. The Authority wasn’t suppose to be in power at the time, so many people would have wanted to know how Triple H acquired the position.
Personally though and I think I speak for many people, a lot of us will feel like The Rock when it comes to The Anonymous Raw General Manager.
