Recent reports have speculated that Kane will return during the Brock Lesnar vs The Undertaker main event at SummerSlam.
Dave Meltzer said during today’s Wrestling Observer Radio that Kane will return at Sunday's SummerSlam event to cost The Beast his match against The Phenom.
Meltzer also said that Kane would seek revenge on Brock for breaking his leg at the go-home show before Battleground last month. This was only a kayfabe injury for Kane to be written off WWE television to film an upcoming movie.

He also said that if The Undertaker is going to play as a heel in order to win against The Beast Incarnate, this is the way the WWE should achieve this. In his past two appearances on Monday Night Raw, The Deadman has been seen delivering low blows to Lesnar.
This really had only been picked up by the WWE commentators until last week when Raw was in Lesnar’s home state of Minnesota. When The Undertaker performed the low blow here, the fans erupted into a chorus of boos for The Deadman.
Hell in a Cell Match?
Booking the main event like this is perfect because not only does it complete a sub plot of Kane getting revenge on Lesnar for injuring him and also for The Undertaker getting revenge for his WrestleMania defeat, but it will also allow for the storyline between Lesnar and The Undertaker for at least one more month.
Lesnar can use the excuse that The Undertaker can not defeat him unless he cheats. He can say out of respect, as he is a respectful man, he will allow The Undertaker time to recover because of his age, but he wants a rematch against him in a Hell in a Cell match at the Hell in a Cell PPV, so no one can interfere.
