Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi took to social media last night to wish former teammate Pedro the best of luck after he completed a move to Chelsea.
Messi, who has starred alongside Pedro at the Nou Camp throughout his tenure in Spain's elite division, sent the Spanish international a message on Facebook after the deal with the Blues was confirmed.
Pedro, of course, made the surprise move to west London despite being heavily linked with a move to Manchester United. Many had expected the Spaniard to complete a move to Old Trafford before Jose Mourinho's late swoop.

And now the Spaniard will be hoping to kick on in England's elite division at Stamford Bridge sooner rather than later.
In fact, he could make his debut for the Blues in their clash with West Brom at the Hawthorns on Sunday, as they go in search of claiming their first three points of the Premier League season.
One thing's for sure, despite a tricky start to the campaign, it's an exciting time to be a Chelsea fan. With the attacking quartet of Pedro, Eden Hazard, Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa, the Blues will have one of the most dynamic and exciting attacks in world football.
Of course, Mourinho also has the likes of Oscar, Willian and Juan Cuadrado, so he has a number of fine options at his disposal as the club go in search of success on both the domestic and European scene.
Pedro will no doubt prove a fine coup for the Blues. In the prime of his career, he will be determined to prove himself in England, and there's no reason why he won't end up a success story in west London.
