Man United tolled by £56m target's brother on Twitter

Published 1 Comments

Manchester United fans might be hoping Louis van Gaal can land Atletico Madrid ace Antoine Griezmann after opting not to sign Pedro, but the latest hints don’t bode well. The Frenchman’s brother yesterday took to Twitter to troll Red Devils fans in a series of tweets - posts that he afterwards deleted after successfully winding up his target audience. Griezmann has a release clause pegged at a cool £56m, meaning he’s far more expensive than Pedro. Perhaps the £22m-rated Sadio Mane isn’t such a bad option after all. Elsewhere astonishing rumours today infer Van Gaal has told friends he is convinced he can get Gareth Bale to leave Real Madrid in favour of Old Trafford. The expensive Welshman has been a supposed target of United for some time, but it’s believed Van Gaal is optimistic he can now get a deal done.
