Besiktas believe they have reached an agreement to sign goalkeeper Victor Valdes according to Spanish newspaper Sport.
Valdez is out of favour at Manchester United however the Times add that the Spaniard is yet to make his mind up over a switch to Turkey.
The former Barcelona ace only joined Manchester United on a free transfer back in January having penned an 18-month contract. However boss Louis van Gaal criticised him for not buying into his 'philosophy' by allegedly refusing to turn out for the club's reserve side.
Valdes refutes that claim but hasn't been included in any of Manchester United squads for their fixtures so far this season.
Manchester United defender Rojo to make reserve comeback
Marcos Rojo and will step up his attempts to reach full match fitness by turning out for the Red Devils’ Under 21 side against Ajax tomorrow.
The Argentine international missed most of pre-season because of his participation in the Copa America, and Manchester United confirmed he’ll play for 60 minutes behind closed doors.
The former Sporting Lisbon ace, who joined Manchester United as part of a deal that saw winger Nani head in the opposite direction on loan last year, had planned to join the club on their pre-season tour of north America but failed to make the plan because of passport issues.
Fellaini to play in striker role this season
Louis van Gaal has confirmed that Marouane Fellaini will play in a more advanced role once again this season.
The Red Devils are in Belgium for the second leg of their Champions League qualifier against Club Brugge tomorrow evening which they go into with a 3-1 advantage thanks to two goals from Memphis Depay and one from Fellaini.
Speaking ahead of the game in Brugge, Van Gaal spoke to the media and confirmed that the Belgian international will continue to play farther up field, rather than in a more traditional midfield role, as he did last season.
